Welcome to Marlow Rowing Club Women's Squad. Our women's squad trains and competes in all types of both sweep and sculling boats. The squad take part in local head races and regattas and our top crews aspire to compete at National and international events. We are actively looking for new members who wish to train and compete hard while holding down a job and having a social life.
Our training is structured around 4 land training sessions on weekday evenings and Saturday and Sunday morning water sessions. It's preferable but not compulsory that weeknight training is done at the club.
By the end of the 2014/15 season we have achieved wins at Henley Sculls, Walton Small Boats and we won the Women's IM2 coxed four Pennant at the Fours' Head. We have also had composite wins at the Pair's Head and the Masters 4's Head. Our coxed four put in good performances at The Met and Henley Women's regatta. This was followed by a great win at Henley Masters regatta, winning the event for the fourth year running. We finished the season with numerous wins at Maidenhead regatta including the mixed elite 8's together with the men's squad.
