The temporary gym is now open at Bisham Abbey. It is available to rowing/gym members, and Bisham have a list.
A club email has been sent. If you did not get it please contact Ed Phillips with details of your email address or login to the website and check your details.
The temporary gym is located in the marquee next to the tennis courts, and is accessed from the road side. Members can use the Bisham Abbey changing facilities (but not their gym!) Bisham Abbey has been provided with a list of members and people may be challenged and their names cross checked against the list. If you do not appear on the list but believe that you should, please contact Belinda.
There is plenty of parking on site and members need to get the barrier exit code from the main gym reception (or any of the receptions on site). The code is changed regularly. As the gym is in an open air location, we do not have music set up at the moment – people should use their own i-pods. If groups want to use music for their sessions the volume needs to be kept low. People using the gym space in the evening should make sure they turn off the lights if they are last out.
Please be aware of security - feel free to challenge anyone you don't recognise (this is your chance to meet new members!) We have had a lot of support from the English Institute of Sport and Serco in getting the facility set up, and we are grateful to them for their help.
Further communications will follow the Club Committee meeting tonight.
