The club has a very successful weekend at the British Championships in Nottingham. The action started with the junior events on Friday and rolled on until Sunday afternoon with 18 crews competing in total.

The junior events were very exciting, with plenty of close racing and loud support from the Marlow parents. At the end of the first day of finals, the club came away with a clutch of medals: a hard fought silver in the J14 double, another masterful display of sculling from the J16 4x brought home gold and an outstanding gold and silver in the WJ14 coxed quads rounded the day off well.

Sunday’s racing was generally quieter, but brought further success for the Marlow crews, with silvers for the WLwt 4- and composite WJ 2x and composite W Lwt 4x, and bronze for the W 4+ and W Lwt 4x.

The final tally was 2 gold, 4 silver and 2 bronze medals – an excellent weekend’s work by any measure.
