MRC logo in a red border

What is happening? The Wycombe Wanderers squad will be coming Wycombe Wanderers Logoto Marlow RC for some pre-season training on Thursday 18th July 2013. We'll be running a FirstRow Corporate Rowing Day for them: In the morning they will be taught how to row and put through their paces on the rowing machines in the club. They will then go on the water for training, and after lunch, side-by-side racing.

Coupled with this, we have a Wycombe Wanders shirt signed by the entire squad and a Wanderers Executive Box package to auction - these are Ebay auctions and details are on the Ebay pages and below.

Club Fire

LogoRebuildFundraiseWhy does the rowing club look a mess? There was a big fire at the club in August 2011. The club, a registered charity, has been raising £2.2 million to rebuild as a watersports hub for canoeing, triathlon, open water swimming and of course, rowing. The charity provides rowing for children from age 12 upwards and is hub for para-rowing (disability rowing) as well as providing rowing for the town and surrounding area. Thanks

Our thanks to Wycombe Wanderers for their kind auction donations.

Two WW reps displaying the shirt

Lot 1: Shirt signed by the squad

A 125th anniversary home shirt signed by the entire squad (pictured with Gareth Ainsworth). The club reverted back to the halves as it was the same style shirt worn in the inaugural season – 1887.
